Network for
Social Security (NeSSt) is an effort to bring together different
countries and representative partners to share and learn from
each other in the field of social security. As exchange of information
and knowledge is key, NeSSt aims to provide information,
material and methods on social security of the participating
countries. NeSSt aims to
- Establish a multi-country joint
learning
platform for countries committed to providing social security cover and
to support such countries in overcoming the challenges associated with
implementing such reforms.
- To leverage this joint learning
platform
as a hub for dissemination of timely and relevant information and
analysis, facilitation of idea exchange across countries and partners,
creation of linkages to technical and financial resources, and
stimulation of practical operational research
- To foster the creation of a global
network of country-level practitioners and their development partners
exchanging in formal and informal joint-learning and problem-solving to
accelerate progress and improve the success of reforms
